Fulani Herdsmen in Another Bloody Attack in Benue

in an early morning attack on four villages in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State, suspected Fulani herdsmen on Tuesday killed eight residents in Ngorukgan, Tse Chia, Deghkia and Nhumbe.
According to a source, the headsmen, in a gorilla fashion like military maneuver, attacked residents of the village at dawn, hacking down any body insight.
He said the villagers who were in shock aftermath of the action wondered why they were attacked unprovoked by the headsmen with several sophisticated weapons.
“Most members of the communities were still asleep when they heard sporadic gunshots from different parts of the area which left eight persons dead across the four villages.
In 2014, several communities were attack in Logo by the headsmen over disagreement between them and farmers on attempt by the headers to graze on farmlands.
I took the intervention of the state and federal government to restore peace after the destruction of lives and property in these communities.
When contacted, the Benue State Police spokesman, Assistant Superintendent, Moses Yamu, said he was yet to receive details of the development.
